Whether the filler was already in the works or they got their idea from this joke is mostly irrelevant otherwise since we’ll a) never know and b) won’t make a ‘canon’ judgement based on it.

I still hate the design, though :P I’m not surprised to find it might have started out as a joke.

nooooooooope, the comment was made on the whole thing “it’s canon, not canon” just to say “it MIGHT be canon”, then I started talk with you and I got sucked into the conversation because, you know, I was in the bleach fandom and it has been YEARS since the last time I did something like this.

You can like or not like it, it’s your choise, what I’m saying here it’s just, refered to the point that the human designs are official or not, that Zabimaru’s might, MIGHT be official because Kubo drew it once, joking or not, but before the filler was planned for sure.
